Community Giving Day: Benefiting the Mexic-Arte Museum

Join us for a day full of culture, arts and food as we celebrate the Mexic-Arte Museum, the official Mexican and Mexican-American museum of Texas.  Dancers and Musicians will entertain you throughout the day along with kids activities and sculptures to contemplate.  5% of today’s sales will go toward Mexic-Arte A.I.S.D programs such as classes that create school murals, short-story writing and illustration workshops.

Since 1984, the Mexic-Arte Museum has served as a center of Mexican, Mexican American and Latin American arts, coordinating an array of exhibitions and providing educational programs for school age children, universities and adults. Currently featured is From Revolution to Renaissance: Mexican Art from the Aaron Collection, a collection of modern Mexican art never before exhibited in the United States.
